MIRPURKHAS, Oct 26: People of Janhero and other villages of the UC Faqeer Abdullah of Taluka Umerkot demonstrated on Friday against the overcharging on general commodities at the Utility Store of Janhero village.

Protesters led by Maghan Meghwar and Dileep accused the in-charge Utility Store of overcharging on general commodities including flour and edible oil. They demanded of the government to take notice of the matter.

LOADSHEDDING: Frequent power breakdown occurred in all four sub-divisions of Hesco Mirpurkhas for three to five hours daily causing hardships to consumers.

Consumers Qadir Bux, Faqeer Mohammad, Taj Mohammad, Munawar Khan, Farooque Panhwar, Furqan Ahmed and others, told reporters here on Friday, that power supply gets suspended at different times. They accused Hesco officials were suspending power supply to cover line losses and issuing detection bills to the consumers.
