Port Qasim

KARACHI, Oct 26: Brisk berthing activity was witnessed at the port where six ships carrying containers, chemicals, general cargo, crude oil and coke were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage. A total of eight ships, CMA CGM Elifel, QIA al-Fujja, Beluga Constitution, Skipper Ali, Tianjin Pioneer, Eastern Tera, CE Pacific and Leonardo Laembo, were busy in loading and unloading containers, seeds, general cargo, chemicals, crude oil and coke.

A cargo volume of 71,683 tons comprising 50,348 tons of import and 21,335 tons export tonnage was handled.

Socotra, QIA Al-Fujja, CMA CGM Elifel, Al-Soor-II and Easten Tera were departed.
