ITP arrests a killer

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25: City Traffic Police (ITP) on Thursday arrested a man allegedly involved in killing his rival here at Al-Jalal bus stop in Sabzi Mandi police area, said a police spokesman.

Eight to ten men came by two cars and shot dead Javed, resident of Sialkot.

The killers tried to flee from the scene but the ‘Uqab’ squad of the ITP chased them and arrested the one identified as Zarar Butt along with the weapon, the spokesman said.

Later, he was handed over to the Sabzi Mandi police station.

GANGS BUSTED: Rawalpindi Region Police busted six gangs of criminals allegedly involved in heinous crimes and recovered huge quantity of arms and other valuables from their possession.

The gangs were in involved in abduction for ransom, highway robberies and snatching vehicles and cash, said a press release issued by the police.—APP
