Two killed in landmine explosions

QUETTA, Oct 24: Two people were killed and eight others were injured, two of them seriously, in two landmine explosions on Wednesday.

Police sources said that a tractor-trolley carrying 10 people was on its way to Dera Bugti when it hit a landmine in the Tali Mat area, some 10km west of Dera Bugti.

One person was killed on the spot.

The injured were taken to the PLL hospital in Sui.

In another landmine blast, a young man was killed when his motorbike hit the landmine near the Pat Feeder area of the Sui tehsil.

Police have registered a case against unknown people.
