Women cricket squad named

LAHORE, Oct 24: Pakistan has announced a 14-member squad to participate in the ICC Women World Cup qualifiers which will be held in Lahore from Nov 17 to 25.

Urooj Mumtaz Khan and Sajida Shah have been named as captain and vice-captain respectively.

Four standbys have also been named.

Team:

Urooj Mumtaz Khan (captain), Sajida Shah, Bismah Maroof, Sana Javed, Nain Abidi, Taskeen Qadeer, Sana Mir, Batool Fatima (wicket-keeper), Asmavia Iqbal, Qanita Jalil, Sadia Yousuf, Sabahat Rasheed, Sumaiya Siddiqui, Naila Nazir.

Standbyes: Almas Akram, Arman Khan, Javeria Khan, Sabeen Abdul Samad.

Officials: Mehjabeen Shafqat (manager), Omer Rashid (coach), Mohammad Tariq Siddiqui (assistant coach), Huma Imtiaz (physio).
