HYDERABAD, Oct 24: Senior vice-president Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan and central MMA leader, Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair has demanded the formation of an interim government in consultation with all the political parties and said that the people will not accept any interim set

-up appointed without consultation.

In a statement faxed to Dawn here on Wednesday, Dr Zubair, who has recently resigned from his MNA seat, said that national consensus was extremely necessary in the formation of the interim set-up, failing which the general elections will become meaningless.

He said Pakistan was faced with internal disturbances and external dangers as the enemy agents wanted to create anarchy in the country through terrorist activities to achieve their nefarious goals.
