MARDAN: Gang busted

MARDAN, Oct 22: Police busted a gang of kidnappers and car-jackers and arrested four suspects, besides recovering weapons and stolen vehicles from their possession, senior officials said here on Monday.

SSP Investigation Abdullah Khan and District Police Office Mohammad Yamin Khan told a press conference that the gang was involved in robberies, kidnapping and car-snatching in the Shahbaz Garhi area for the last several months.

They said the police raided a hideout and arrested four suspects. The police also recovered a stolen tractor and two Suzuki pick-ups.
