Second dengue case in Lahore

LAHORE, Oct 21: As the district health department confirmed second dengue case in Lahore on Sunday, the Punjab health minister said the situation was completely under control in the province.

Bilal, son of Imtiaz, of Bund Road has been tested dengue positive. Imtiaz was tested positive a couple of days ago. “The condition of both patients is stable,” Executive District Officer (Health) Dr Inamul Haq told Dawn. He said the city district government of Lahore had completed controlled fumigation in the Bund Road area. —Staff Reporter
