LARKANA, Oct 21: In the wake of the Karachi carnage, the Sukkur regional police officer has received instructions from the Sindh home department to beef up security at the ancestral home of PPP leader Benazir Bhutto in Naudero near here.

According to the security plan, at least 100 personnel of different ranks under the command of a DSP would be deployed at the Naudero residence of Ms Bhutto. Police personnel belonging to Larkana region would be called from different districts and assigned duties in Naudero, the sources said.

Meanwhile, the Larkana chapter of the PPP is finalising lists of activists of the Sindh People’s Students Federation and Sindh People’s Youth Organisation to be deployed at the Naudero House for security purposes.
