NEW DELHI, March 22: In a fresh outbreak of communal violence, three persons were stabbed to death in Baroda on Friday, prompting authorities to reimpose indefinite curfew in six localities, said the latest official report.

Three persons were killed and another sustained stab wounds in Dandia Bazar and Lal Akhada areas and Kapurai village, on the outskirts of the city, the report said.

Curfew was reimposed in six police station areas of city this afternoon, among which were Raopura, Karelibaug, Navapura, Panigate and Wadi, the report quotes police commissioner Deendayal Tuteja as saying.

A company of the Rapid Action Force staged a flag march in the affected areas, the report says. With this, the toll in the violence in the city after the “shila daan” in Ayodhya on March 15 has gone up to six.—APP
