COLOMBO, Oct 19: Sri Lanka cricket legend Aravinda de Silva believes his countrymen will have their best ever chance to record a Test win on Australian soil on their upcoming tour.

The tourists will play two Tests, and a triangular series also involving India, against the world champions when they travel Down Under at the end of Oct.

Sri Lanka have only ever won one Test against Australia, in Kandy in 1999, but, with the Aussies now stripped of Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne, De Silva believes they may be ripe for an upset.—Agencies
