KARACHI, Oct 21: Habib Bank’s Pakistan discard Imran Farhat hammered a scintillating 204 at run-a-ball to put former champions in command against ADBP on the first day of the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I tie at Sheikhupura Stadium Sunday.
According to details available here, the 19-year-old left-handed opener stroked 150 runs in boundaries which included as many as 33 fours and three sixes during his 281-minute stay at the crease.
Habib Bank reached 376 for three in their first innings at stumps after skipper Akram Raza chose to bat.
Hasan Raza, another Test reject, also was in fine nick by reaching unbeaten 103 off 182 deliveries in 244 minutes. Together with Imran, Hasan put on 238 for the third wicket.
Earlier, ex-Test right-hander Saleem Elahi made 22 in a first wicket partnership of 62 with Imran.
