JACOBABAD, Oct 17: A rally was taken out by the residents of a village against the irrigation official’s slackness to drain out the standing flood water.
People from Jan Mohammad Talani village reached the Shaheed Park and blocked the Quetta Road which led to suspension of traffic between Sindh-Balochistan for sometime. Later, they reached press club.
Gul Mohammad, Imdad, Abdul Majeed, Mohammad Hashim and others said a breach occurred in Rind Canal a week back which inundated their village. However, breach water was not drained out from their village.
