Four of a family die in accident

HYDERABAD, Oct 17: Four women of the same family lost their lives while three male members received serious injuries in a road accident on Jeddah-Riyadh highway in Saudi Arabia on Eid day.

Reports reaching here said that Mrs Iqbal Memon 56, sister of noted heart specialist, Professor Feroze Memon, her daughter Roohina Mansoor 32, daughter-in-law Nida Haider 22, who is also the daughter of noted professor of medicines LUMHS, Professor Anwar Memon, and grand daughter of Mrs Iqbal Memon, Khola died on the spot.

Mr Haider 24, son of Mrs Iqbal Memon, and her two grandsons aged 10 and 8 were seriously injured. The tragic road accident took place while the family was travelling to Riyadh to spend Eid holidays.

The bodies will be brought here on Friday and the mortal remains will be laid to rest on the same day in Diplai Memon Housing Society graveyard, Hyderabad.

It may be mentioned here that Ms Nida Haider was awarded gold medal in her BBA course and MBA course from Isra University in February this year at the convocation ceremony.
