THATTA, Oct 16: Four passengers were killed while 32 others injured as a Karachi bound bus collided head on with an oncoming picnicker’s coaster near Makli bypass on the National Highway on Tuesday afternoon.

The eyewitnesses said that the bus collided with the coaster carrying picnickers towards the Keenjhar Lake.

Johar, son of Gul Hassan; Jafar, son of Gul Khan Pathan; Mohammad Shahid, son of Mohammad Kazim Pathan and Ahmed Ali, son of Hakim Khan, all residents of Landhi Korangi Karachi, were killed in the incident.

Some thirty passengers riding in both the vehicles, identified as Ghulam Hussain, Maroo, Ayaz Khan, Zahid Khan, Faqir Dad, Nasim Khan, Saleem Dad, Shakrullah, Gul Hassan and others sustained injuries.

Ten of the critically injured whose names could not be ascertained yet were immediately rushed to Karachi for treatment while the rest were provided first aid at the Civil Hospital Makli.
