410,310 flour bags for Eid

LAHORE, Oct 12: The Punjab Food Department arranged supply of 410,310 bags of flour in five big cities of the province for ensuring free availability during Eid holidays.

Stating this here on Friday, Punjab Food Minister Hasnain Jehanian Gardezi said 140,546 flour bags had been supplied in Lahore, 74,717 in Rawalpindi, 70,672 in Multan, 68,044 in Gujranwala and 56,331 in Faisalabad. He said the price and supply situation in the province was under control as the government had increased wheat release to mills by 150 per cent to ensure free availability of flour to the people. — Reporter
