PESHAWAR, Oct 10: The provincial executive council of the Awami National Party has constituted a parliamentary board consisting of five members for awarding tickets to party candidates in the coming general election.

The executive council met here on Wednesday at the Bacha Khan Markaz which was presided over by ANP president Asfandyar Wali Khan. Other who attended the meeting included Senior Vice-President Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Additional Secretary-General Haji Muhammad Adeel, Secretary Information Zahid Khan, Vice-President Bushra Gohar, Senior Vice-President Baz Muhammad Khan.

The parliamentary board members are Afrasiab Khattak, Baz Muhammad Khan, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Karim Babak and Zain Muhammad.

The provincial executive council directed the parliamentary board to seek applications from party members for which constituted another board headed by Haji Ghulam Bilour.

The meeting demanded of the government to forthwith stop air strike in North Waziristan and provide medical cover to the injured people in the area.—APP
