NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 8: Lawyers boycotted court proceedings in Kandiaro on Monday in protest against alleged attack on the village of one of their colleagues.

The protesting lawyers told journalists that 34 people belonging to Hisbani tribes, Kalhora and Dahraj tibes attacked their colleague Zulfiqar Ali Jatoi’s village on Saturday night on the instigation of nazim of union council Mohabbat Dero.

They had lodged an FIR against the nazim, Abdul Ghaffar Jatoi, and 32 other persons but police had arrested only two accused, Ashraf and Fayaz.—Correspondent
