MIRPURKHAS, March 20: Scores of people, including workers of the Pakistan Human Rights Foundation, staged a demonstration in front of district and sessions court here on Tuesday to protest against the implication of a newly-married couple in the Zina Hudood ordinance case by satellite town police.

Speaking on the occasion the protesters said a newly married couple, Nosheen Gul and Ghalibur Rehman, was arrested by satellite town police from a house situated at Mir Allah Bachayo colony about four days back.

They alleged that the police illegally and forcibly entered the house without any magistrate and lady police.

They demanded of the higher authorities to take notice of the police.
