LAKKI MARWAT, Oct 7: Elders of the Bhetani tribe on Sunday called upon the political authorities to initiate development schemes in the Frontier Region of Lakki Marwat.
They demanded that jobs should be given to local tribesmen under the Nekat tradition.
Speaking at a press conference in Tajori, Malik Gul Nawaz and Malik Misal Khan said that some people were influencing the administration to approve jobs in the Khasadar Force for their kinsmen.
They said that the administration should follow the Nekat tradition in the recruitment of Khasadars, otherwise it would create unrest among the tribesmen.
