SIALKOT, Sept 30: A Raw agent reportedly committed suicide in the District Jail here on Sunday morning.

Official sources said two Raw agents, Dilawar Ali and Shahbaz, of border village Ubiyaal Dogar, Shakargarh, were sent to the District Jail by Sialkot police some two days ago. They were locked in separate barracks.

Dilawar was locked in Block No 1 where he reportedly touched the main electricity wire passing near the window of his barrack. He received a severe shock and died on the spot. The jail staff found him dead in the morning.

During interrogation, Dilawar and Shahbaz had confessed that they were involved in bomb blasts occurred in Sialkot district.

After the suicide of Dilawar, the security of Shahbaz has further been tightened.
