Youm-i-Ali observed

HYDERABAD, Oct 4: The anniversary of martyrdom of Hazrat Ali Murtaza (RA) was observed throughout Sindh with great reverence on Thursday.

In Hyderabad, a mourning procession was taken out from Imam Bargah Dadan Shah Karbala and after passing through the appointed routs, it terminated at Qadamgah Moula Ali at Iftar time.

Earlier, a Majlis was addressed by Allama Ghulam Raza Jafar of Multan and Allama Nayyar Abbas Jafri at Imam Bargah Dadan Shah. Strict security arrangements were made by police on procession routes and traffic jams were witnessed throughout the day.

In Nawabshah, Youm-i-Ali was observed with religious zeal and fervour.

The main procession was taken out from Hyderi Imambargah which after passing through different places culminated at Murtazvi Imambargah at Monhi Baazar. Maulana Abdul Sattar Soomro, Zawar Mohram Ali Mallah and Zawar Darya Khan Lashari, spoke at the Majlis.
