KARACHI, Oct 3: Three ships carrying DAP fertiliser and to load cement and naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships were berthed as under: Bunga Terasek, CMA CGM Caribbean, APl Amman, Wan Hai-305 and Corin Thaikos, to unload and load containers, Lalazar to offload crude oil and A. Dragon to offload mogas.

Six ships, Mol Ability, Hanin, Hanjin Ningbo, Tower Bridge, Al_Farabi, and New Champion departed on Wednesday, while Chem Rose, Kaspar Schulte, Lake Harumi and Asian Queen are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total volume of 0.117m tons comprising 26,594 tons of export cargo and 90,259 tons of imports was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Kaspar Schulte, to load 20,000 tons of naphtha, Lake Harumi, with 42,988 tons of DAP fertilizer and Asian Queen to load 20,000 tons of cement.
