DADU, Sept 27: The Dadu district council on Thursday expressed concern over price hike of flour and other food items and demanded of the district administration to implement the prescribed price list.
A member Ghulam Qadir Babar tabled a resolution that the government had fixed price of flour at Rs14 per kg but traders were selling it for Rs19 to Rs20 per kg. He demanded action against hoarders and shopkeepers who were overcharging. The council adopted the resolution.—Correspondent
