KARACHI : Nooruddin Sarki dies

KARACHI, Sept 26: Eminent writer, lawyer and political activist Nooruddin Sarki died of cardiac arrest in his house here on Wednesday morning. He was 80.

He was laid to rest in the Mewashah graveyard after his Namaz-i-Janaza was offered at a mosque in Khayaban-i-Saadi, DHA. The late Sarki is survived by a son and two daughters.He was one of those leading Sindhi writers who had founded the Sindhi Adabi Sangat in the mid-40s.—Staff Reporter
