HYDERABAD, Sept 24: Di-strict Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil, here on Monday, distributed cheques of Rs50,000 each among heirs of five who died in a cylinder blast in Maan Enterprises, SITE Area on July 25.

The blast took place when the oxygen cylinders were being loaded on trucks.

Those who had died in the blast included, Mohammad Naqash, Mirza Kamran Baig, Jamil Ahmed, Gul Sher and Alamgir.

Kanwar Naveed Jamil said although it was not the responsibility of the district government to provide financial assistance to victims of such incidents yet it was providing financial help to the bereaved families on compassionate grounds.

DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES: District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil has directed the consultant, contractors and officers to accelerate pace of work on development projects within the stipulated period.
