NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 23: Activists of the Sindh United Party took out a rally from Obedullah Sindhi Chowk to the press club in Tharushah on Sunday to protest against deteriorating law and order situation and increase in the prices of consumer items and medicines.

The protesters complained that law and order situation in Naushahro Feroze district had worsened with an increase in the incidents of motorcycles snatching and house robberies but the police have failed to arrest the criminals.

They said that under the pressure of rising prices of kitchen items and medicines, poor people were committing suicide.

They called upon the authorities to curb crime and control the prices and threatened to continue agitation otherwise.

The rally was led the SUP’s district leader Raza Behan, Jehangir Dahiri and others.
