Five traders kidnapped

LARKANA, Sept 20: Five members of Hindu family and their driver were kidnapped by unidentified armed people late on Wednesday night from Mirpurmathelo-Sarhad Road in Ghotki district.

According to details the family was coming back from Rehrki Darbar after performing religious rituals when their car was intercepted on the Bypass Road and its passengers Nanik Ram, Seth Ludo Mal, Rajesh alias Raja, Ram and Sham aged five and six years (sons of Seth Ludo Mal) and their driver Saindino Kori were kidnapped.

Local Hindu Panchayat called on the District Police Officer and Nazims for early recovery of kidnapped people. According to sources three among the kidnapped were traders residing in Ghotki town.

Ramash Lal, a PPP MNA said public was not safe even on roads. He talked to the Regional Police Officer Sukkur who assured early recovery of abducted persons. He said it speaks of the deteriorating law and order situation in the province. He called for the early and safe recovery of the kidnapped family members and the driver.
