LAHORE, Oct 21: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned India for trying to label the freedom struggle in Kashmir as terrorism.

Speaking at a news conference on Sunday, JKLF leaders Faisal Nazuki and Sardar Ansar Khan urged America to play its role in the just resolution of Kashmir and Palestine issues.

They said that at present when the international community was fighting terrorism India was trying its utmost to colour the freedom movement in Kashmir also as terrorism.

In order to gain its sinister designs and prove that there was terrorism in Kashmir, India exploded bombs in front of the Srinagar Assembly and shelled Pakistani areas without any provocation during the visit of American secretary of state.

The JKLF leaders said there was terrorism in Kashmir but this was being conducted by India against Kashmiri people. So far 80,000 innocent people have been killed.

They said the international community must realize that peace could not be established in the world without addressing such issues. America was trying to crush popular freedom movements but this would invite further rebellion which would be hard to control.

The JKLF leaders said Kashmiris were struggling for their right to self-determination for the past 55 years. But despite the UN resolutions in their favour they were being denied their freedom. It was the duty of America to play its role for the just resolution of Kashmir and Palestineissues.

They announced that a protest rally will be held in Lahore on October 27 to condemn India.
