KARACHI, March 17: Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) has rejected the seniority list of professors and lecturers of nationalized colleges and called it unlawful.

According to a press release issued on Sunday, participants of an SPLA meeting felt that the list had not been approved by the competent authority.

The meeting decided that teachers and lecturers of schools and colleges would stage a hunger strike from Monday in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Mirpurkhas to press the government for the solution of their problems. They urged the government to hand over the management of the education boards to the city and district governments.—APP
