Hosts beaten in KG event

KARACHI, Sept 15: Good contributions by Wajihuddin, Zeeshan Pervez and Fahadullah enabled Bed & Bath CC defeat hosts Karachi Gymkhana by six wickets in the 22nd Karachi Gymkhana Ramazan Cricket Festival at the KG Ground here on Saturday.

Karachi Gymkhana mustered 155-6 after opting to bat first. Left-handed opener Usman Farhat hit 51 off 42 balls with six boundaries.

But Bed & Bath CC were home in 18.1 overs thanks to Wajihuddin (48 off 26 balls, seven fours and one six), Man-of-the-Match Zeeshan (43 not out off 40 balls, five fours) and Fahadullah (43 off 26 balls, three sixes and three fours).
