Three shot dead

MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Sept 15: Three people were allegedly shot dead over a land dispute in Dharekan Khud village on Saturday.

Ghulam Qadir had a dispute with his nephews Nazir Ahmed and Bashir Ahmad over a piece of three-kanal land.

Nazir and Bashir stormed Ghulam Qadir’s outhouse on Saturday morning and shot at Qadir and his family members before fleeing. As a result of bullet wounds, Qadir, 56, his wife Sardaran, 52, and his daughter Sughra, 18, died instantly. The police started investigations.
