Two killed in accident

MUZAFFARABAD, Sept 14: Two people were killed and nine others, including a woman and three brothers, were injured in a road accident near here on Friday.

A police official said a Muzaffarabad-bound wagon coming from Rawalpindi went out of the driver’s control near Asgharabad village, some six kilometres from here on the Kohala-Muzaffarabad road, and fell down the road onto the bank of Jhelum river.

The deceased were identified as Ghulam Hussain Shah (resident of Muzaffarabad) and Zaman Sher Khan (resident of Mardan). The injured — Gulzar (driver), Manzoor and Shahida Bibi, Tasveer Shah, Naveed, Latif, Abdul Waheed and Wahid Ali, soldier Mohammad Zain (Jhelum) and Ejaz (DI Khan) — were admitted to a local hospital.
