PTI women protest

LAHORE, Sept 13: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf’s Punjab women wing staged a demonstration to protest against rising prices of essential commodities outside the Lahore Press club on Thursday.

The women wing leaders in their speeches on the occasion lashed out at the government for its failure to control prices prior to Ramazan, terming it criminal negligence.

They said the masses were being burdened by the rise in basic food items’ prices, adding that they had gone up by 15 per cent during the last month alone. The prices of flour, sugar and gram flour had been further increased this week, they added.
