Killer’s arrest sought

KHAIRPUR, Sept 4: Some protesters fell unconscious while demanding arrest of accused nominated in the murder of one Ali Khan Dharejo.

Relatives of Dharejo and the JSQM activists demonstrated on Kumbh-Nawabshah Road on Tuesday morning and set ablaze tyres. During the demonstration, some protesters including Ghulam Hussain 50 fell unconscious.

Leaders Mujeebur Rehman Bharejo and others said Ali Khan was innocent. They said killers had yet not been arrested despite the lodging of FIR.

A large number of vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road. The area police reached the spot and tried to re-open the road but protesters refused demanded to open it after till the arrest of the accused.

Ali Khan Bharejo was killed and his body was found from cotton field some few days back.
