Wetterich takes charge

Published September 4, 2007

NORTON (Massachusetts), Sept 3: Long-hitting Brett Wetterich, helped by an eagle at the par-five seventh and a late slip by Tiger Woods, grabbed a one-shot lead after the third round of the Deutsche Bank Championship on Sunday.

A stroke off the pace overnight at the TPC Boston, Wetterich took advantage of ideal scoring conditions on a glorious late summer’s day by firing a five-under-par 66.—Reuters
