QUETTA, Sept 2: Three Turkish nationals were arrested on Sunday after crossing into Pakistani territory through a rarely used route.

Security officials said that they were arrested for travelling without required documents and booked under the Foreigners’ Act.

They said that the arrested Turkish nationals had been handed over to the authorities concerned for interrogation.

Meanwhile, Pakistani authorities handed over 150

Afghan nationals to the Afghan border authorities in Spin Buldak.

They had been freed from the Quetta district jail on Saturday evening after they completed their sentences.

The Afghans had been arrested by police and other law-enforcement agencies from various areas in the province for entering the country without proper documents.
