KARACHI, Sept 1: Internationals Imran Shahzad and Saleh Mohammad topped their respective groups to set a date for title clash on the penultimate day of the 21st Latif Masters Snooker Championship at the Karachi Club on Saturday.

Despite being stunned by Shehram Changezi 4-2 to end the league on a dismal note, Imran mustered highest, 50, points to top group B.

Islamabad-based Shehram who claimed his maiden ranking title in his home town in July was home 77-15, 62-40, 100-21, 12-69, 73-43, 0-111.

Similarly, in a clash of foes Saleh Mohammad allowed no room to Mohammad Yousuf, imposing a straight 6-0 win to top group ‘A’ amassing 47 points.

The win which is second after the Style ranking semi-final, held in April, made him eligible to finish ahead of his closest opponent Khurram Agha.

Saleh won the battle 78-30, 61-58, 68-43, 59-15, 94-1, 67-20.
