TIMERGARA, Aug 29: Nazir Muhammad of Darmal district in Dir Lower has appealed to Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take suo motu action for release of his brother, allegedly kidnapped by security agencies.

He made the appeal while talking to journalists here on Wednesday, saying that his brother Wazir Muhammad had been picked up by the Dir Lower police eight months ago and then handed over to members of secret agencies.

Wazir Muhammad said that whereabouts of his brother were not known to anyone.

“I have been searching him for the past eight months but have found no clue,” said Nazir.

He said that his brother was the sole earning member of his family and now his children and wife had been forced to beg on streets.

He claimed that the victim was not involved in any criminal activity and was arrested merely on charges of terrorism which were not related to him.
