MMA leader visits Hafiz Basit

FAISALABAD, Aug 28: MMA leader Hafiz Husain Ahmed on Tuesday visited Hafiz Abdul Basit at his residence in Gulberg Colony.

Mr Basit was released on the orders of the Supreme Court a couple of days ago after four years of detention. His release orders were issued during the hearing of missing persons’ case.

Later talking to reporters, Hafiz Husain said the MMA would accord a warm welcome and extend all facilities, including security, to Mian Nawaz Sharif if he decided to land Peshawar.
