QUETTA, Aug 27: The train service on the main railway line linking Quetta with rest of the country was suspended for several hours after unidentified people blew up the track at three places in the Bolan district on Monday.

According to police sources, explosive devices were planted at three points on the track between Mach and Paner railway stations that exploded with brief intervals.

All Quetta-bound passenger trains reached the city two to three hour late, while the Lahore-bound Chiltan Express could not leave the Quetta railway station on its schedule time.

The traffic at the main line was restored at around 9a.m.

HUB: A powerful explosion rocked the Sakran area of the Hub industrial town on Monday.

The bomb was planted close to the Labour department office that went off with a big bang. The blast damaged wall of the office and windowpanes.

No casualty was reported.
