Port Qasim

KARACHI, Aug 24: Brisk berthing activity was witnessed at the port where five ships carrying containers, edible oil, furnace oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours.

According to a PQA press release issued here on Friday three more ships with coal, diesel oil and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

A total of 10 ships were currently occupying the berths to load and unload various commodities.

A cargo volume of 84,897 tons comprising 67,252 tons of import and 17,645 tons of export tonnage was handled.

CE Pacific, Chemstar Hero, Maersk Nontana and Ibn Sina left the port.
