KARACHI, March 13: The postponed SSC annual examinations-2002 of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Karachi, will now commence from March 30.

The BSE controller of examinations, Mohammad Saleem Khan, told Dawn on Wednesday that the examinations which were to begin on March 29 had been delayed for one day in view of the Good Friday.

The examinations, which had commenced on March 1, were postponed on March 5 after the Board failed to provide admit cards to all the candidates in time.

Examinations of fresh science group students would now start from April 2, while for the fresh students of general group, the exams would commence from April 3, the controller said.

The paper of Chemistry (class X) would be held on March 30 for failures of previous examination. A revised date-sheet would be made available at schools within a couple of days.
