KACP chief’s house looted

LAHORE, March 12: Robbers took away cash, jewellery and valuables worth Rs800,000 from the Gulberg residence of Kashmir Action Committee Pakistan president Dr Muzaffar Shah on Tuesday morning.

Dr Muzaffar Shah said that five gunmen entered his house and held the family members and servants hostage.

According to APP, dacoits first entered the servants’ quarters and tied five servants with ropes.

“They searched the bungalow and made away with cash, jewellery and foreign currency,” Shah said

He alleged that police wasted more than two hours in reacting.

RUN OVER: A youth was run over by a train in Ghari Shahu on Tuesday.

Police said that Asad, 21, went to buy household items. He was hit by a train when he was crossing the track.

Dies on road: An unidentified man was killed in a road accident in Shadbagh on Tuesday.

The man, about 40, was crossing the road when a speeding van hit him. He was taken to hospital where he died.
