KARACHI: HSC exam results

KARACHI, March 12: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Tuesday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate examination part II supplementary examinations 2001 of humanities (regular) and commerce groups.

6,516 candidates had appeared in the humanities group examinations of whom 2,547 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 39.08.

None was placed in grade A-I or A and only 13 got B grade. There were 365 C-graders, while 1,745 candidates were placed in D, and 424 in E-grade.

A statement of the Board said the marks statements would be issued after two weeks.

7,570 candidates had appeared in the HSC Part II exams, of whom 2,907 were declared pass with a pass percentage of 38.40.

There was no A-I or A-grader, while only two were placed in B- grade.

The number of those with C-grade was 208; 2,075 got D-grade, while 621 passed in E-grade.—APP
