Three mill workers die on road

SAHIWAL, Aug 15: Three employees of a textile mill were killed and another was injured in a road accident here on Wednesday.

Four employees of Layyah Textile Mills were going to Lahore in a car. During the journey, driver Imran went to sleep and the car rammed into a tree on GT Road near Chak 187/9-L. As a result, Imran, Naseer and Fayyaz were killed and Abbas was injured.

ARRESTED: Chichawatni city police have arrested a man allegedly involved in Feb 24 bicycle bomb explosion.

Police arrested Qari Aneesur Rehman, alleged mastermind of the explosion, after a court cancelled his pre-arrest bail. He has been sent to the Central Jail on a 14-day judicial remand. — Correspondent
