Two killed in separate incidents

ISLAMABAD, Aug 15: Two persons, including a police official, were killed while two others injured in separate road accidents in Islamabad on Tuesday, police said.

Kafaitullah, a police constable posted at Sabzi Mandi police station, was heading to his office with his friend Fareedullah after performing special duty in Bhara Kahu when his motorcycle slipped off the road and smashed into a wall near Malpur.

As a result both the motorcycle riders were injured. The injured were shifted to the hospital where Kafaitullah died, while his friend is stated to be in critical condition.

In another incident, Abdul Rehman, 21, was killed while his brother Ehsan Mehmood was injured when their motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into a roadside wall on Murree Road.— Staff Reporter
