SHIKARPUR: Two persons electrocuted

SHIKARPUR, Aug 13: Two persons, including a student, were electrocuted and a boy wounded when they were trying to get electric connection from 11kv line for their houses in village Shaham Marfani, taluka Garhi Yasin, on Sunday.

Those electrocuted were identified as Usman Marfani, 40, and twelve-year old primary student Khalid Hussain Marfani. Seven-year-old Imran Marfani was seriously injured due to electric shock.

KILLED: A man, Abdul Karim Sethar, resident of village Boriri, was gunned down near Khabri Laro on Rustam-Shikarpur road on Sunday.

According to reports, two armed men, belonging to Mahar tribe riding on motorbike shot dead Abdul Karim Sethar and escaped.

The motive behind the murder was said to be an old enmity.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.
