Qadir remains LPC chief

LAHORE, Aug 11: Abdul Qadir Khan was retained as president of the Lahore Polo Club for next term of one-year 2007-08 in a general body meeting held on Saturday. The general body also elected a six-member executive committee the members of which are Faaiz Rahim Khan, Azam Hayat Noon, Naveed M Sheikh and Hussain Iftikhar who were elected for a second term while Asif Yar Tiwana and Maj Javed Mawaz Khan for the first term.

The meeting also discussed the progress made during the polo season 2006-07 and future plans for the improvement of facilities and other matters.
