ATTOCK KHURD, Aug 11: A woman and her husband have been booked for allegedly obtaining pension from Bait-ul-Mal by using the pension book of a deceased woman.

Bait-ul-Mal Clerk of Fatehjang, Rashid Ahmad told police that Mukhan Bibi was carrying passbook no-FSP-3417 bearing name of wife of Mehtab Hussain and tried to draw Rs3000.

During inspection, he came to know that Ms Shahnaz Bibi wife of Mehtab Hussain Shah had already died and Mukhan Bibi was trying to draw pension by pretending herself as wife of the deceased by using his passbook.
